BIBLE STUDY: There will be Peace On The Earth!

Two thousand and nineteen years ago, an angel frightened some shepherds who were keeping watch over their flock, in the field by night. This angel of the Lord said he was bringing good news of great joy, to all people; that a Savior would bring about peace on earth, and good will toward men. This happened at the same time of year that God’s people were to be keeping the last four of God’s annual Holy Days. Now I ask, Have You ever heard the REAL story?

Bible Study Instructions: One Nation Under God Ministries ( publishes and distributes weekly Bible Studies, worldwide – free of charge, to anyone who requests them, in both printed and electronic formats. Our Studies are intended to be a simple and fun way to learn the Scriptures, and are very easy to follow! We adhere to Jesus Christ’s Biblical instructions to teach and feed the flock of God portions of meat in due season, on weekly Sabbaths, and on the seven annual Holy Days throughout each calendar year (Luke 12:42 / Isaiah 28:9-10 / Matthew 13:52). Using both the Old and New Testaments, our Bible Studies are designed to present a premise, make a statement, or ask a question – followed by one or more Scriptural references. Just look up and read from your Bible the Scriptures listed. Comments following questions elaborate on the Scriptures you just read. Pray always before beginning any study of God’s Word, asking God to open both your eyes and your mind to His Truth; then Prove everything you read, is in fact the Truth, by comparing it to The Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:21 / 2 Timothy 3:15-17). Then use the Biblical System of Checks and Balances, and SEE if both Jesus Christ, and the First Century Church of God Apostles – also Did, Said, and Taught these SAME THINGS (Galatians 1:1-12, 5:25 / 1 Peter 2:21, 25 / 1 John 2:3-6)! That’s all there is to it! Our Bible Studies are based on the King James Version, unless otherwise stated. We will be praying for your eyes to “see” (Matthew 13:11-17); and we are always available to answer any of your questions! Be Blessed, in Jesus’ Name! - One Nation Under God Ministries (

When most people alive today, hear about the story of the birth of Jesus Christ, they immediately think “Christmas”. But 2020 years ago that was not the case. In fact, they had a very different view of the times of the year and the seasons, back then; especially when they referred to the birth of Jesus Christ, the One who would become our Messiah (John 4:25-26)!!!

So let’s begin our Study today, of just how Peace will come to this earth, as the Bible says, by resetting in our heads, or resetting what most of us have always believed to be true about the birth of Christ. To do this, we must read from Scripture alone, and see what was really happening there – in that field by night: (Luke 2:1-24, [Luke 2:22 -The King James Version uses “And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought Him (Jesus Christ – the Number Two of the Godhead) to Jerusalem, to present Him (Jesus) to the Lord (God the Father – the Number One of the Godhead).”

Most modern translations use the phrase: “their purification” instead of “her purification.” Which is more correct? Let’s now look at Leviticus 12:1-8 and see. Scripture records only the woman, not her husband was unclean, and needed purification after child birth (Verse :7 “and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood…”): forty days after the birth of a son, and eighty days after the birth of a daughter. There seemed to have been a temporary relief after eight days, counted from after the day on which a woman gave birth to a son; so the boy could be circumcised on the following day – the tenth day; then the women would continue in her purification until the forty days were finished. Now let’s continue in Luke 2:22-40. If Jesus, Our King, was born on The Feast of Trumpets (the first day of the seventh month), then He was circumcised after eight days (one day, Trumpets; plus 8 more days = nine days). The next day would be the Day of Atonement – kept on the tenth day of the seventh month). Joseph would have kept the Holy Days in the temple alone, as Mary would have been considered unclean on the 10th (Atonement), and the 15th – 23rd days of the month (when the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great Day were celebrated). Mary and Joseph, in all likelihood, would have remained in Bethlehem or Jerusalem another 17 days after the Last Great Day (or after the Feasts had ended), in order that they could be in Jerusalem on the 40th day (Leviticus 12:6-8 / Luke 2:25-40), so that Mary would be considered clean, and so Simeon could see Christ, Bless Him in front of both of His parents, speak to Mary in the temple; and so Anna the prophetess could also see Jesus, and Thank God for the One who would bring redemption to all of mankind!]. The day Jesus Christ was born on was not Christmas day!!! If we overlay our currently used Gregorian calendar over God’s eternal Lunar / Solar calendar, we SEE something amazing and remarkable: Jesus was born on September 11, 4 B.C. (on God’s Holy Day Feast of Trumpets – The Coming of The KING)!!!

As we have discussed in many of our previous Bible Studies, the pagan church calendar we use today is inferior to God’s eternal calendar, and as such it “floats” back and forth over God’s Lunar / Solar Calendar. This year (2016 A.D.), God’s Holy Day of Trumpets will be observed from Sunday night sundown (02 October) until Monday night sundown (03 October).

Two years ago, I met a former co-worker of mine at a local diner, on September 11th, when I was having a Father / Daughter date with my little girl, Kristina. My friend knew enough to put Christ’s birth on 11 September 3 B.C., but did not realize that the dates on our Gregorian calendar float each year, so September 11 has no Biblical significance (ie: America’s recent 9/11 Memorials). So now we know Jesus wasn’t born on Christmas day, He was born at least three months previous to that ancient pagan festival; and He was not really born on September 11 either! That was just the day we would recognize, in the specific year He was born, IF the Gregorian calendar had even existed (which it did not) in the year of Christ’s birth!

So when was Jesus born?

Answer: on the first day of the seventh month of God’s Sacred Calendar (Leviticus 23:23-25)!!! But God does not want us to remember that day as Jesus’ Birthday… in the Bible, only pagan kings honor themselves on the day of their birth (Pharaoh and Herod); not so with the KING of kings! The Feast of Trumpets is a shadow of the future Coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 / Zechariah 14:1-5 / Matthew 24:24-31)!!!!!!

The Feast of Trumpets is a shadow of the future Coming of God the Father to live for all eternity on this earth with Jesus and all of humanity, 1100 years after the Return of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:20-28 / Revelation 21:1-8)!!!!! The Feast of Trumpets is one of the most important Holy Days a human being could ever keep; and yet most priests and pastors, most Bible teachers and scholars dismiss it; most churches refuse to Honor God by teaching it, keeping it, or hallowing it (Matthew 5:5, 6:9-10, 7:13-23 / Revelation 11:15)!!!!! Just how “HOLY” do YOU consider the Feast of Trumpets to be (Isaiah 58:13-14)?

Most “Christian” churches today, scramble Scripture LIKE EGGS (they look nothing like they did in their original state, once they are done with them. Deuteronomy 12:32)! Once they abandoned the Holy Days, they also lost the correct Biblical timelines too! They want you to believe that three wise men visited Jesus in the manger, just after He was born on that Christmas eve in Bethlehem, and that they gave Him three distinctly different gifts or “birthday presents”, if you will (Matthew 2:1-18). Nonsense!!!

Was Jesus a new born baby when the “wise men” arrived? And was this Christmas night?

From Infant to Young Child:

We can see a Scriptural progression in Luke chapter 2. First, Mary is “great with child” (Luke 2:5), and as a firstborn and “new born” son (Luke 2:11-12), He was wrapped in swaddling clothes (just like a receiving blanket and baby clothes we would use today! They were not rags denoting poverty! Mary and Joseph had prepared and planned for the arrival of this child! They had the necessary items at hand when they travelled! Luke 2:7). Notice that Jesus is specifically called a “babe” (or baby / infant) when referring to “this child” (Luke 2:16-20). The child is still an infant, of only TEN days old, when He is circumcised (Luke 2:21). Then Jesus as an infant, of only a month and ten days since birth, is brought to Jerusalem (probably still from Bethlehem where they were staying with relatives after the Feast of Tabernacles), in order that He could be presented to God, His Father (Luke 2:22-34). Did you notice in verses 30-35, how Simeon predicts the return of Jesus Christ in Power and in Glory, at Trumpets; and how he speaks of the First Resurrection; and that this sign (or Holy Day / Exodus 31:13 / Matthew 24:30-31) will be spoken against in latter times (Isaiah 66:23-24)?

Then 40 days after Jesus’ birth, Mary and Joseph returned to Galilee, to their own city “Nazareth”!!! Still no “wise men” have come to visit, Jesus is almost a month and a half old “Baby”, and He is on His way back home to Nazareth!!! Now let’s look again at Matthew 2:1-8. This is a recap of Christ’s birth in Bethlehem, about two years AFTER Jesus was born! Jesus is now two years old, He is a young child – not a baby – and He is living in Nazareth with Mary and Joseph!!! Now verse 9 is really cool! The wise men knew of Micah’s prophecy. Micah was a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah who lived in the 8th century B.C. (Micah 5:1-15). The wise men KNEW where Christ was born; but they did not know where Jesus was two years after His birth!!! Now notice Matthew 2:7-8. Herod sent the wise men to Bethlehem; but God had other plans (Matthew 2:9-12)!!! The star was what the wise men oriented on (going North), not King Herod’s direction (to go South)! They used the star to find “where the YOUNG CHILD was” (not a baby)! The wise men came into to Jesus’ house, which was located in Nazareth - NOT in Bethlehem! The wise men visited Jesus and His family in Nazareth, at their home; two years after Jesus was born – they did NOT follow Herod’s directions to go to Bethlehem (which is South of Jerusalem) on the day of Christ’s birth (Matthew 2:16-18)!!!

The wise men would have retraced Mary and Joseph’s footsteps as they walked from Jerusalem (North), and NOT South to Bethlehem! They continued north to Nazareth (because that is where the star led them). The most direct route would be about 90 miles, but that would be through what was known in that day as Samaria. Because of the racial hatred that existed with the Samaritans, and the harsh mountainous conditions, that route would have been avoided (especially by a women carrying a small baby).

The travel route was most probably from Jerusalem, down to the Jordan Valley on “the Jericho Road”, then across the Jordan River into the area known as Perea (part of present day Jordan; but back in Christ’s time on earth, it was the portion of King Herod’s kingdom that occupied the eastern side of the Jordan River valley). From there, one would go north on the east side of the River Jordan. Just below the Sea of Galilee the route crossed back over the River Jordan, then split. One route went North West to Nazareth, the other passing along the West side of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum.

Total walking distance travelled: approximately 120 miles (or 193 kilometers).

Travel time: seven to ten days (walking / horse or donkey pulling a cart).

Temperature: in the summer the heat could reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the winter there was often snow along that route!

Jesus would have walked this route at least three times a year, throughout His whole life; and at least 9 times during His three year public ministry. Consider that the next time you read Exodus 34:23-24, or think that you travel “too far” to attend Sabbath and Holy Day services! :o)

Jesus was a “young child” when an angel told Joseph to flee to Egypt (about a 350 mile / 563 kilometer walk - carrying a two year old boy through the desert)! This was soon after the wise men departed (Matthew 2:13-15). Even King Herod knew the baby Jesus wasn’t a baby anymore; Herod gave orders to kill all the children that were in Bethlehem and in the surrounding cities, ages two years old and younger (Matthew 2:16-18).

The Feast of Trumpets has always pictured and foreshadowed the Triumphant Arrival of the King of Peace – or the King of Salem (Shalom)! And it always will (Numbers 24:17-19 / Daniel 2:44-49 [This is where the magi or wise men would later come from!], 6:28 / Ester 8:17).

The Perversion of Trumpets and God’s Message of Peace:

This world celebrates the birth, the arrival, of Jesus - at the end of the month of December each year; approximately three months from today. But God’s people, are called to OBEY His times and His seasons, and to celebrate the arrival of Christ – in just two more days during this year’s Feast of Trumpets (Monday, 03 October 2016)!

“Joy to the World” is a popular Christmas carol, sung by millions each year. The words were penned by an English hymn writer Isaac Watts. Based on the 98 Psalm (Psalm 98:1-9), his hymn was first published in 1719, in Watts' collection; “The Psalms of David: Imitated in the language of the New Testament, and applied to the Christian state and worship”. Watts wrote the words of "Joy to the World" as a hymn glorifying Christ’s Triumphant Return to earth at the end of the age, His Second Coming; NOT His birth!!!

Notice the lyrics; most ignore the third verse (as do Veggie Tales and Disney in their Christmas Carols):

Joy To The World:

Verse 1

Joy to the world! the Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

Verse 2

Joy to the world! the Saviour reigns;
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

Verse 3 (optional – usually forgotten)

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

Verse 4

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

God has a tremendous Plan in place to rescue this fallen world of ours. It is a plan that only those who are obedient to God, and who keep His Holy Days (as the Magi, Daniel, Ester, and Mordecai did) will fully understand. See Daniel 9:24-25 which states that the Messiah would come 483 years after King Darius allowed the Jews to rebuild Jerusalem.

The Magi (or wise men):

How many Magi arrived in Jerusalem, and where did they come from? The Parthian Empire: which consisted of Persia, Babylon, and Assyria? Why would they upset Herod who was appointed as “King of the Jews” by Caesar Augustus? (Matthew 2:2-6 / Micah 5:2). The Magi knew that The Feast of Trumpets heralds the coming of the KING of Kings!

The gospel of Matthew records that “Magi” (NASB, NIV) or “Wise Men” (KJV, ESV, NRSV), came from the East to see Jesus after he was born. The Greek word magoi, correctly translated as “Magi” (Matt. 2:1- NIV), is a plural proper noun referring to people of a specific religious group that existed in the Ancient Near East, most specifically the area of ancient Media and Persia. By the time of Christ, that area was the country of Parthia, which is north and east of Israel. Much has been written in encyclopedias and Bible dictionaries about their origin; but it is important to know that at least some Magi were looking for a Messiah who would conquer darkness and restore justice in the world.

Magi, especially their leaders and priests, were considered to be wise, and even to have occult powers, so the translation “Wise Men” might at first seem to be a fitting translation, but it is far too broad a term to communicate the meaning of the word “magoi.” After all, there were many wise men in the ancient world, just as there are today, but the Magi were a specific group. The title “Wise Men” does not tell us who the Magi were, but their proper title does. Similarly, calling them “kings,” as in the song verse, “We three kings from orient are…,” only confuses the record. They were not kings!

Perhaps the most important reason to refer to these men by the proper name, Magi, is so the reader of the Bible can see their relation to the religious group that was at one time led and instructed by Daniel the prophet. Sometime around 600 B.C., Daniel was made ruler over the Magi, although the connection is not as clear as it could be, because in the book of Daniel the Magi are referred to as “magicians” and Daniel is referred to as “chief of the magicians” (Daniel 4:9, 5:11). Although there is no proof for it outside the Bible, it seems certain that Daniel instructed the leaders of the Magi about the Biblical origin of the true Messiah; - because hundreds of years later, some Magi made a long and dangerous trip to Israel to pay homage to the child Jesus (Matthew 2:2).

As the centuries passed after the birth of Christ, the true knowledge about the Magi was replaced by superstition and tradition, and this has persisted in spite of the fact that it contradicts what is clearly written in Scripture!!! For example, the Magi did not follow a star to Bethlehem. No super-bright, westward traveling celestial phenomena appeared in the sky and went from Parthia to Bethlehem. We today live mostly indoors, and very few people look out at the night sky on a regular basis, yet if something strange appears in the sky, radio stations and police departments are flooded with calls. In the ancient Near East, many people saw the sky on a more regular basis than we do today, and many were very superstitious (Jeremiah 10:2). Had there been an unusual star traveling westward, not only the Magi would have followed it, but also many other people, all of whom would have arrived at Bethlehem. The fact that only the Magi showed up was because the “star” itself was not unusual, but was a unique occurrence of planetary conjunctions and appearances that, viewed by themselves and considered individually, would not seem unusual at all.

These Magi were astronomers, and the “star” they saw was a series of celestial events, including stars, planets, and conjunctions, especially involving the “king planet” Jupiter.

Before telescopes were invented, planets, stars, novas, and comets were all called “stars,” and before the invention of modern devices for measuring their movement, ancient astronomers tracked the timing and position of the stars by when they were first visible over the horizon.

We know the Magi used this technique because it was a common practice of old, and also by what they said when they reached Jerusalem: “…For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him” (Matthew 2:2 - ESV). The ESV translates the phrase “when it rose.” The Magi were watching the stars and noting their relation to points on the horizon, to each other, and to the constellations in which they appeared. Eventually they saw patterns that convinced them the Messiah had been born.

Most Bible versions say the Magi saw the star, “in the east,” instead of “when it rose.” Although “in the east” is not the most accurate translation of the Greek text, it does tell us that most English Bibles give enough information to dispel some of the traditional mythology that has arisen about the Magi. For example, they did not see the star in the western or southwestern sky. Also, there is no verse that says they “followed” the star to get anywhere. The idea that they “followed” the star comes from tradition that was popularized by Christmas music. The Magi saw celestial events that led them to conclude that the Jewish Messiah had been born. Therefore, they made a logical decision and went to Jerusalem, the religious and political capital of Israel (Feast of Trumpets), and asked the king where to find this new Messiah. Matthew 2:1 makes it clear they came to “Jerusalem,” not to Bethlehem. There they got an audience with King Herod, who directed them to go to Bethlehem.

We do not know whether the Magi traveled to Jerusalem by themselves or joined a trading caravan that was heading in that direction. Neither do we know how long the journey took, but it would have taken at least a month and maybe several (Parthia itself is hundreds of miles across, and we do not know exactly where they started their journey).

For more information on what exactly the Star of Bethlehem was, go to and read our Bible Study:

The Star Of Bethlehem, And The REAL Reason For The Christmas Season

We will be studying this topic in detail during the month of December 2016, so stay tuned!!!

Continuing on with the Magi:

The Bible does NOT say how many Magi came to see Jesus! Tradition says three, but that idea comes from the three kinds of gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. These gifts were all fitting for a king, and each could easily be sold or bartered to purchase necessities, so they would greatly help Joseph and his new family. It is not likely that each of the Magi individually brought “a gift,” like we would bring “a gift” to a birthday party. The three gifts would have been presented as a collective offering from the Magi who made the journey, and the people whom they represented, back in Parthia, who collected the gifts!!!

Tradition over TRUTH? Most are GUILTY of this!!!

There were almost certainly many more than three Magi who made the trip. For one thing, the purpose of the trip was to pay homage to the long-awaited Messiah (Feast of Trumpets), and many devout followers of God would have wanted to be part of that event. The trip was long and dangerous, and it was standard procedure in those days to travel with a large number of people for protection, especially when traveling with valuables, and more especially when those valuables were to be taken across an international border into an enemy empire (at the time, Rome and Parthia were enemies).

Another good reason for believing that there were more than three Magi is that when they arrived in Jerusalem, King Herod and “all Jerusalem” were disturbed at their coming (Matthew 2:3). To fully appreciate this, we need to remember that Herod and Jerusalem were not disturbed when, about two years earlier, shepherds announced that they had seen angels and that the Messiah had been born (this is why Herod would later kill all the babies two years old and under). When a group of Magi arrived from Parthia and wanted to know where the Messiah was born, that got the attention of Herod and Jerusalem, and upset them greatly.

The killing of children only happened two years after Christ’s birth, when Herod saw a powerful military force (of potentially thousands of armed men) coming to pay tribute to Christ!!!

When the Magi arrived in Jerusalem, neither they nor King Herod knew where to find the young Messiah!!! However, Micah 5:2 foretold that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, so that is where King Herod sent them (Matthew 2:4-8). Bethlehem is seven miles south of Jerusalem, and the Magi did not travel there the day they got an audience with King Herod. Even at two miles per hour, the journey would have only taken three and a half hours, and we can conclude from the biblical record that they returned to where they were staying and prepared to make the journey the next day. It was usual for caravans to get started very early in the morning, while it is still dark, and this one was no different (Matthew 2:9-12)!!!

When the Magi headed out for Bethlehem in the early morning while it was still dark, the “star” they had observed back in Parthia “went before them” (Matthew 2:9 - KJV, ESV). They did not follow the star to Bethlehem, the star was in the Northern horizon – they were South at Jerusalem – and so they reoriented on the star, and headed North towards Nazareth (where Jesus’ house was. Matthew 2:11)!

The star that seemed to go in front of them was the planet Jupiter (and two others), which at that time was in the Northern sky (if you were in Jerusalem. See also: The Star that Astonished the World / The Star of Bethlehem). Although there are some Scriptural errors with their assumptions, they make a good case for what the Magi saw in the sky).

As “the star” rose in the sky, it became more and more directly North, the very direction they were heading, and thus appeared to be “going before them.” Finally, as it reached its zenith (high point) in the sky North of them, it “stood” directly over Nazareth (astronomers still use the same language today, saying stars “rise,” “stand,” and “set”). Herod was looking for Jesus in the South, at Bethlehem! That is why God warned the magi not to return to Herod, but to go home another way (without going through Jerusalem. Matthew 2:12)! They went home, leaving Nazareth – after finding Christ, by travelling North East (another way home)!!!

Seeing Jupiter going before them caused great joy among the group. Although they certainly would have known Jupiter was visible in the sky, they did not know where the Messiah, or where Nazareth was, and thus would not have known that the star would also “seem to go before them”!

Nazareth was a small village, and the houses in such villages of the Ancient Near East were all crowded together, so nothing in the sky could point out an individual house. This is more evidence that the star did not lead the Magi to the Messiah. Nevertheless, the Messiah would be easy to locate in Nazareth, thanks to the shepherds, who had not only told the whole countryside about Jesus; but Jesus was also somewhat of a celebrity in the temple too (Remember Simeon and Anna)!!!

All the Magi had to do was ask, and everyone would remember the baby whose parents were both of the line of David, and of whom the shepherds had announced so joyfully!

Upon finding the “child” (Jesus was not a “baby” anymore; Matthew 2:11), the Magi paid homage to him and presented their gifts (Holy Day offerings – Malachi 3:7-12). The Magi were not stupid, and Herod had a reputation for killing potential rivals, so they asked God for guidance as to what to do after they found the Messiah. This fact is not clearly stated in most English Bibles, but the Greek word translated “warned” in most of them was usually used of a divine instruction or warning that came to people who asked for guidance from an oracle! The Magi asked God what to do, and He warned them not to go back to Herod, so they went home by another route (Matthew 2:12. North East)!!!

Right after the Magi left, Joseph was also warned by God to flee the area, which he did, going down to Egypt (Matthew 2:13-14). This is another piece of evidence that shows the Magi were not present at the birth of Jesus, but long after. Herod and the powers in Jerusalem had ignored the shepherds, and after the birth of Jesus, Joseph and Mary stayed in the area and completed the forty days of cleansing and the sacrifice required by the Law of Moses (Luke 2:22-24; Leviticus 12:1-8). However, after the Magi left Judea, Herod was furious and would have moved very quickly to do away with this new potential rival for his throne. It may have took Herod a while to figure out that Nazareth was the Magi’s true destination, but find out he would! There is no way that Joseph and Mary could have then stayed around for forty days without Herod finding and killing both them and Jesus. This accounts for the urgency in the angel’s message to Joseph: “…Get up…take the child and…escape to Egypt….” “Take” and “escape” are in the imperative mood; they are firm commands, and Joseph acted on them immediately (Matthew 2:13)!!!

We should ask ourselves why it is important to know the truth about the Magi. What difference does it make whether they were Magi, wise men, or kings? Who cares whether there were three of them or fifty; or several hundred, or thousands? What is wrong with thinking they just followed a celestial object southwest from Parthia to Bethlehem? The answer relates to God’s purpose for giving us the His Word, which is His Instruction for our lives, full of valuable lessons!!! The Bible is not made up of fanciful stories, but of credible historical records!!! History is “His Story” or God’s Story about How T Redeem Mankind!!! We Do NOT want to alter or abolish HIS STORY (Revelation 22:16-21)!!!

There is very little to learn from a story of three men in Parthia, who see an unusual “star” and just follow it, without anyway told to us about how they discern that they were supposed to know that this “star”, was leading them to the Messiah, and that they should bring gifts! The lie of Christmas steals all of the Majesty from God’s Real Life Story!!!

The TRUTH about the Magi teaches us a lot about God’s Holy Days!

We see the great patience and faithfulness they had, passing down the information about the Messiah generation after generation, waiting some 600 years for him (Exodus 31:13, 16), then traveling nearly 1000 miles, over four months. That should remind us to pass on our knowledge of God’s Word to the next generation (Proverbs 22:6). We see the great risk the Magi were willing to take, carrying valuables hundreds of miles across an international border to pay homage to the Messiah, and the value of the gifts they brought, indicates how thankful they were for Him!!! To the Magi, the sacrifice of their time, money, and energy to Keep God’s Holy Day, in due season, was well worth the effort!!!

It is also interesting to consider that Mary and Joseph had other children after Jesus was born (Matthew 12:46, 13:55 / Mark 6:3 / John 2:12, 7:3, 5, 10 / Acts 1:14 / 1 Corinthians 9:5 / Galatians 1:19). It is possible that Mary was ready to give birth to another child, or nursing a new born baby, with Jesus as the older brother, when the Magi dropped by their house to visit on a Trumpets Holy Day. This would account for Joseph not being mentioned at such a prestigious event (Matthew 2:11); he could have been at Jerusalem keeping the Feast. This would also give more clarity to a huge military force coming 1,000 miles, to bow down and worship; and give offerings, to a two year old King, if this was the Feast of Trumpets of God’s Fall Holy Days (Acts 1:9-11 / Matthew 16:27-28, 25:31 / Mark 8:38, 9:1, 13:26 / Luke 9:26, 21:27 / Daniel 7:9-10 / Revelation 5:11-12)!!! It would also clarify why, after the Feasts (Trumpets to The Last Great Day); that the Magi departed, and Joseph was warned to flee into Egypt with Jesus and Mary (Matthew 2:13-15)!!!

Christmas time and Peace on Earth (Luke 2:14)?

For these last 2,000 years plus, we have had anything but peace on the earth (James 4:1-2 / John 8:44, 10:10). When is this peace spoken of by the angels really going to come upon the whole earth (Matthew 24:5-31)? Those who keep God’s Holy Days know the answer!!! The last four Holy Days of God, coming in the autumn season in the northern hemisphere, at the time of the last harvest, portray how God will bring about total, absolute, and complete peace on the face of the whole earth!

God’s Festivals – Are You Keeping Them?

1)   The Feast of Trumpets: proclaims the return of Jesus Christ who will establish the Kingdom of God on the earth (Leviticus 23:24 / Daniel 2:39-47 / Amos 3:6 / Revelation 8:1-6, [see also chapters 9 & 11], 11:15, 18, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 5:10, 20:4-6). Those called by God to have part in the First Resurrection of the dead will bring peace upon the earth, with Jesus Christ as King, through one last Great War (Zechariah 14:1-2, 12-16 /Revelation 14:14-20, 19:11-21).

2)   The Feast of Atonement (Leviticus 16:31, 23:27-32): After such a great display of Power by the returning Jesus Christ, Satan the devil will be bound for a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-3). This sets the stage so that the world can finally be one with God (“At One With” = Atonement). Without the removal of Satan and his demons, true peace on the earth is not possible (1 Peter 5:8 / 2 Corinthians 11:14 / Isaiah 14:12-14 / Revelation 12:9). The great deceiver will be gone! Now we humans can finally begin the destiny chosen for them by God (2 Corinthians 6:18 / Hebrews 2:10 / 1 Corinthians 15:49 / 1 John 3:2). Those who qualify, will judge both humans on the earth, and angels (1 Corinthians 6:2-3 / Hebrews 1:13-14 / Jude 6). The Feast of Atonement, and fasting shows us our future relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ (John 17:21-23)!!!

3)   The Feast of Tabernacles, which follows a few days later, depicts and reflects the unprecedented peace and unparalleled prosperity humanity will one day experience (Leviticus 23: 33-43). The Feast of Tabernacles lasts for seven days, a number in the Bible that relates to completion and perfection. Christ, and His Saints, will be teaching and transforming human beings, into what God intended us to be, for a thousand years (Hebrews 8:10-12). The pervasiveness of God's peace will rapidly promote unparalleled prosperity, as spelled out in scriptures like these:

Isaiah 11:9 / Micah 4:3-4 / Isaiah 35:1 / Amos 9:13 / Ezekiel 36:35 / Zechariah 14:16-19. The Feast of Tabernacles is as the Feast of Peace!!! That is why God makes it the First thing He reinstates at Christ’s return! All of humanity will come before Christ to keep this great feast! And there will be PEACE upon the earth!

The fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles will fulfill God's promise to humankind heralded by the angels at Jesus' birth: "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will to men" (Luke 2:14)!

Then, at the end of this 1,000 year period of Peace, Satan will be released for a brief period to deceive the nations yet again! Unfortunately, he will succeed in leading great multitudes, who have never had to personally overcome him in their lifetimes, into mounting a final battle against Christ and His saints (1 John 5:5 / Revelation 3:5, 21, 21:7).

But this, the final attempt at war, will be short-lived as God sends fire to totally consume those involved in yet another attack against Christ and His Saints! Satan and his demons will be removed from God’s Kingdom forever (Revelation 20:7-10)!!! World peace will be restored, this time forever and ever!!!!

4)   The Last Great Day: pictures the continued world peace; and now the resurrection of the rest of the dead (Revelation 20:5)!!! The Millennium rule of Christ will not end with satanic rebellion. This last annual Feast Day tells us so! And shows us there is much MORE to come in God’s Great Plan!

God has planned a much greater harvest of human beings beyond the Millennium, referred to in your Bible as the time of "the rest of the dead" (a second resurrection following the first resurrection of the Saints at Christ's return) as well as the White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:4 & 6, 11-15). The Last Great day follows the Feast of Tabernacles, and is the Eighth Day (Leviticus 23: 34, 36. 39). This Eighth Day, a separate festival from the Feast of Tabernacles, symbolizes the ultimate in - gathering of the greatest harvest of human lives! It includes ALL who have ever lived and died, from the time of Adam, to the time of Christ's return (Ezekiel 37:1-14)!!! This is the same thing we see in Revelation 20:11-13!

Finally, ALL PEOPLE who dwell on earth can Understand and Obey God’s Word! The resurrected of all nations, will be judged from God's Word. At last, the Billions upon Billions of people who never understood God's truth will have the opportunity to learn it and make the choice as to whether or not to follow Christ and be saved (1 John 2:23-24, 3:23-24, 4:15 / Matthew 10:32-33).

Jesus Christ's 1,000-year reign and His White Throne Judgment reign are equally set in great beauty, peace and prosperity. The setting is the same, yet the people are different; this time it includes all who have ever lived. Jesus Christ truly is the Savior of the whole world (John 1:29)! As everyone learns, in their God-chosen time frame throughout history, to follow God's ways; those who remain faithful, will ultimately be transformed into Christ's divine likeness (John 1:4,7,9,12-13)! The LAST GREAT DAY pictures this wonderful time, and continues God's peace on earth (Romans 15:33 / Philippians 4:7, 9 / John 14:27)!

You too can enjoy and exhibit God's peace on earth by learning about, and keeping, ALL of God's Holy Day Festivals! We hope you will join us!

The Fall Holy Days (Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles, and The Last Great Day) are the Truth of God. They are kept by those who are obedient to God, and are rejected by all those whom Christ will reject at His Second Coming (1 John 2:3-6 / Luke 6:46)!!!

The Fall Holy Days show us God’s Plan. When we keep these Holy Days we become the very Voice of God to this fallen world; we are in effect saying, by our actions on each Feast Day, “Come LORD Jesus, Come” (Revelation 22:12, 17, 20-21)!!!

The faithful and obedient in Christ will always keep God’s True Holy Days and Sabbath; and will reject the pagan lies and substitutions of God’s truth (Revelation 22:11-15)! God’s Holy Days are meant for Christians to ENJOY! They truly are FEAST DAYS, meant to be enjoyed by God’s elect everywhere, throughout time, FOREVER!

We are honored that you joined us today, in the Study of God’s Word! We hope that you will join us on Monday, 03 October 2016, for God’s AWESOME Feast of Tabernacles! We will be gathering at 11 am, and begin our Worship and Study at Noon. A Feast will follow our Bible Study!!! Remember, to continue to share what you have learned here, with others – at home, at work, and in your neighborhood (Matthew 28:18-20 / Mark 16:15-20)! May our Great God, Bless you and keep you, until then – in Jesus’ Name!!!

God is calling YOU to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and the first century church, can you hear His Voice (1 John 2:6 / Matthew 11:29)? The Sabbath and Holy Days show us God’s Plan. When we keep these Holy Days we become the very Voice of God to this fallen world; we are in effect saying, by our actions on each Feast Day, “Come LORD Jesus, Come” (Revelation 22:12, 17, 20-21)!!! We are actually confessing Christ before men (Matthew 10:32-33)!

The faithful and obedient in Christ will always keep God’s True Holy Days and Sabbath; and will reject the pagan lies and substitutions of God’s TRUTH (Revelation 22:11-15)! God’s Holy Days are meant for Christians to ENJOY! They truly are FEAST DAYS, meant to be enjoyed by God’s elect everywhere, throughout time, FOREVER!!!

If you have never faithfully kept God’s seventh day Sabbath holy or God’s Holy Days, the way Jesus Christ did – in the flesh, and in the fellowship of other followers of the Son of Man; we invite you to obediently enter into God’s rest today, and to keep the Feasts of the LORD (Hebrews 4:1-11 / Leviticus 23:1-44)! ”But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:26-30).

Christians must learn to read the Bible, interpret the scriptures according to Biblical principles (Isaiah 28:9-10, / Matthew 13:52), and begin to apply the precepts they learn in their walk with God. Individual study is essential; coupled with fellowship times of group study, worship, and discussions of personal insights and observations.

We strive, each Saturday, to foster an open and welcoming atmosphere where Spirit led confirmation, clarification, questions, and correction can be made in the fellowship of other students of God’s Word.

One Nation Under God U.S.A. ( is working to unify the body of Christ in the worship of God the Father, in the way Jesus showed us to - in Spirit and in Truth! We strive to promote rediscovery of American History, and renew in current generations the Vision and the Covenant of our Founding Fathers.
