The Call: "And the angel of the Lord came and appeared to Gideon, and said: "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior." (Judges 6:12).

 A simple question about one of the pillars of our great nation. Yet, I am constantly amazed at how many people today, cannot answer this simple question with a historically accurate and correct answer.

 How will you celebrate this 4th of July 2010?

President Obama gave a major speech on June 4, 2009, at the University of Cairo. It is deeply revealing of his worldview – it is not surprising, but it is confirmatory.

"Freedom is not Free", a reminder offered during this year's gathering, at the North Naples, Florida, Memorial Day ceremony. It's a reminder from the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. The Memorial offers another thought too - one now sadly devalued: "Our nation honors her sons and daughters who answered the call to defend a country they never knew and a people they never met."

We had a great time at the Naples pier on the National Day of Prayer. We are very thankful to the ONUG members and friends that joined us at lunch time to pray for our government, military, media, business, education, church and families. Special thanks to Pastor Ken Chickk from Fisherman's Home Church for leading us in prayer. Ken we are thankful for your support and friendship.

 Will God Hear from America on May 7th, 2009?

We survived the Tea Party today and it was great, tiring but great. We were slammed at our tent from 11:30 till 2:15. We met a lot of great people today and I was impressed with the signs and posters. People really do get it that this is not about a specific party or politician. The politicians have forgotten that they work for us, and need to represent us. But we are also to blame for not holding them responsible for their actions. It's time to clean out the deadwood and criminals by electing representatives that base their decisions on the Constitution and the laws handed down by God.

 "We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other bed-wetters.

Most would agree that there is a radical element in this country, moving step by step to dismantle the infrastructure of our great Nation. The priorities of the people are not the priorities of most of our elected officials.
 
We can maintain the DMZ, the border between North Korea and South Korea; and the border of Iraq with Iran, preventing one side from infiltrating the other. Yet our own border with Mexico, deliberately has more holes in it than a block of Swiss Cheese.
